For reasons unknown, the developer made it rather difficult to determine what double and triple tech combos can actually be utilized between party combinations.
The Spritnite equipping screen reveals the names of possible combos with each piece of Spritnite and whether its a double or triple tech… but not what other Spritnite or characters are required to create the combo (which is extremely unhelpful).
Since I’m not psychic, this combo list isn’t particularly useful in any way.
The Tech screen on the other hand shows an icon of each character required for the combo, but only for combos currently available based on what you actually have equipped (which is extremely unhelpful in determining what other combos could be available by changing your equipped items).
If you like the challenge of discovery or enjoy being surprised when a cool new ability pops up in the battle menu, then perhaps that’s not a bad thing, but for anyone else who wants to plan battle strategy this setup is actually quite annoying.
Hidden away in a tiny, not easy-to-find sub-section of the Snow Chronicles menu there is a list of all combos you can use… but only with the current Spritnite you’ve already purchased. That’s not super helpful for planning out future combos or deciding what Spritnite you should focus on buying next to get bigger double or triple techs going.
This is more helpful… but still not perfect.
